Limited Warranty Policy
The manufacturer, Cerulean Sonar LLC (hereafter referred to as Cerulean), warrants that at the time of shipment, all products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and suitable for the purpose specified in the product publications.
Cerulean product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 120 days. If a defect exists, CS, at its option, will:
- Repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished parts.
- Exchange the product with a functional equivalent product that is new or refurbished.
- Refund the original purchase price.

The warranty is only deemed valid if the equipment was sold through Cerulean or one of its approved distributors/integrators.
The warranty commences immediately from the customer acceptance date and runs for 120 days. Customer acceptance will always be deemed to have transpired within 48 hours of delivery.
The equipment must have been installed and authorized in strict accordance with approved technical standards and specifications for which the system was designed.
Cerulean must be notified immediately (in writing) of any suspected defect, and if advised by Cerulean, the equipment subject to the defect can be returned by the customer to Cerulean via a suitable mode of transportation and shall be freight paid.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by failure to follow the recommended installation or maintenance procedures or defects resulting from normal wear and tear, scratches, cracks from misuse, bent or broken parts, theft, or loss, incorrect operation, fire, water ingress, lightning damage or fluctuations in vehicle supply voltages, or any other circumstances arising after delivery.
The warranty does not cover the transportation of personnel and per diem allowances relating to any repair or replacement.
The warranty does not cover any direct, indirect, punitive, special, consequential damages or any damages arising out of or connected with misuse of this product.
Any equipment or parts returned under warranty provisions will be returned to the customer freight prepaid by Cerulean.
The warranty shall become invalid if the customer attempts to repair or modify the equipment without the appropriate written authority from Cerulean.
Cerulean retains the sole right to accept or reject any warranty claim.
Cerulean examined the product before it shipped. The customer should inspect the product as soon as it is received. If it is damaged in any way, it should be reported to the courier, and Cerulean should be notified of the damage.
Cerulean does reserve the right to change specifications without notice and has no obligation to incorporate features otherwise found in previously sold equipment.
If a warranty does not cover equipment or equipment failure is caused by customer misuse, as stated above, the repairs will be billed to the customer. Cerulean will submit an estimate for customer approval before repairs commence.
The warranty is not transferable.
Any recovery is limited to the original purchase price, and no other person is authorized to modify this limited warranty. Your seller is responsible for any other applicable warranties.
