SPH Engineering has integrated the Surveyor 240-16 MBES and side-scan sonars into custom UAV payloads, enabling fully automated data collection in environments where USV/ASV operations are impractical or unsafe. This approach allows for high-resolution multibeam or side-scan sonar surveys to be conducted without deploying a vessel—or even approaching the water, opening new possibilities for rapid, remote, and hard-to-access survey missions.
