The Omnitrack system represents the latest generation of underwater positioning solutions from Cerulean Sonar. At its core is the Omnitrack surface module—a ring buoy that combines Cerulean’s ROVL Mk. III with dual GNSS receivers to deliver robust global positioning of underwater targets. In addition to providing accurate global position for the topside module, the dual GNSS units also determine heading, eliminating issues caused by magnetic interference.
The Omnitrack has been designed to interface directly with the BlueROV to enhance its internal position estimate. Therefore, outfitting your BlueROV with the Omnitrack and a Cerulean Tracker 650 leverages the combined strengths of USBL and DVL technology.

NOTE : Power supplies for both units must be able to supply burst currents to prevent drop-out and erratic operation. While the transmitter will work with a low impedance 5V supply we recommend using 9V or higher, unless you know how to figure out if your 5V power supply is low-enough impedance.
