SKU: OMT-NETWORK-HUB

Network Hub unifies your topside network for ROV and sensor operations — eliminating the need for multiple adapters and complex cabling. Its versatile interfaces and flexible power options make it easy to connect laptops, sensors, payloads, and radios into a single reliable network, saving time on setup and reducing points of failure during subsea missions.

Description

The Network Hub is a small, purpose-built networking device that bridges different underwater vehicle and topside systems (i.e., Omnitrack and the ROV Locator MK V), enabling them to communicate seamlessly. It connects an ROV, a PC, an Omnitrack geolocation system, and other Ethernet-enabled devices (such as a Wi-Fi radio or a secondary laptop) into a single unified network. It provides multiple physical interface types optimized for subsea use, including a Fathom tether interface, a POE-enabled Binder 700 port for Omnitrack (or an RJ45 POE port for Wi-Fi), USB-C connectivity for a PC, and two RJ-45 Ethernet ports that optionally supply 24 V passive PoE.
The Network Hub can be powered directly from a laptop USB-C port, a battery bank, or an external 2.1 mm DC barrel input, giving flexibility for both portable and fixed installations. Typical usage includes bridging the ROV network with topside systems for sonar payload control and geolocation.

The Network Hub also serves as a complete replacement for the BlueROV Fathom-X Tether Interface.
